Project Detail:

Deccan Cements Limited., (DCL) is operating a Cement Plant with Clinker production capacity of 1.7 MTPA and Cement of 1.8 MTPA Clinker along with 18 MW Coal Based Captive power plant at Mahankaligudem Village, Palakeedu Mandal, Suryapet District, Telangana, State.

The limestone requirement of the cement plant is met from Bhavanipuram Limestone Mine – ML-3 at rated production of 2.3 MTPA. The Mine ML-3 extends over an area of 183.11 Ha (Forest Land) located in Compartment No. 26 & 27, Saidulnama Reserved Forest, Ravipahad Village, Palakeedu Mandal, Suryapet District, Telangana State. Mine is located adjacent to Cement Plant.

Clinker production of the Cement plant is being enhanced from 1.70 to 3.20 MTPA for which limestone requirement increases to 4.6 MTPA.
