| Project Detail : | Tata Metaliks is planning to expand steel capacity at Gokulpur village in Midnapore district of West Bengal.
The project worth Rs 800 crore will expand the capacity of products like--sinter plant with a capacity of 50,000 tpm, pellet plant with a capacity of 4,50,000 tpa, pig casting machine with a capacity of 0.345 million tpa and among others.
The project will provide 1,000 direct and indirect employment. The steel project was accorded terms of reference (ToR) in January 2018 and a year later in January 2019 it received environmental clearance (EC) for the project.
As per latest information available with Projects Today, the contractor for the project is being finalised. |
