| Project Detail : | The Education Department has issued instructions to district education officers for the utilisation of grants released under smart city project Rs 3.35 crore have been sanctioned for the schools. As many as 83 primary schools, including 54 middle, high and senior secondary schools will be utilising these funds for development purposes. The money will be spent on class room furnishing, color coding, toilet repair and maintenance, science lab equipment, lecture stands, CCTV cameras, compost pit, and educational parks, furniture and gate symmetry Deputy DEO (Secondary) Harbhagwant Singh said, “The funds will be utilised for the development of schools in the municipal area. Rs 3.35 crore have been released for the development of schools, he said. The schools include GES Gumanpura, GES Jagoani, GSSS Mustfabad, GSSS Wallah, GSSS Naushera and GES Fatahpur The schools concerned will have to send in a detailed report to the District Education Officer (Senior Secondary) |
