Project Detail : | Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled multiple developmental projects in Maharashtra on 16 February 2019 The PM inaugurated Lower Panazara Medium project under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY). It will irrigate around 7,585 ha area of 21 villages of Dhule and surrounding areas, acting as a lifeline to the water deficient region. The project will bring water to the parched areas of Maharashtra The PM also dedicated Jalgaon-Udhana doubling and electrification rail project to the nation. The project is worth Rs 2,400 crore will ease the movement of goods and people. The rail line connecting North and South India will give a fillip to growth of surrounding regions Bhusaval-Bandra Khandesh Express Train was also flagged off which will provide direct connectivity between Mumbai and Bhusawal. Nandurbar-Udhana MEMU train and Udhana-Paladi MEMU train were also flagged off The PM laid foundation stone of 51 km Dhule-Nardana Railway Line and 107 km Jalgaon-Manmad Third Railway Line. Sulwade Jamphal Kanoli Lift Irrigation Scheme was also unveiled which will bring water from Tapi river and supply linked dams, ponds and canals benefitting one lakh farmers of 100 villages Apart from this, foundation stone was laid for Water Supply Scheme and Underground Sewer Project under AMRUT for Dhule City at an estimated cost of around Rs 500 crore |
