Work on one of the three elevated roads mooted to help mitigate congestion on city roads — above the Dadri-Surajpur-Chhalera (DSC) Road, between sectors 41-49 crossing and Sector 82 — is to begin by January next year, officials said “The proposed 5.5 km elevated road will begin near Aghapur village in Sector 41 and go up to Sector 82 T-point. Tendering for the estimated Rs 500 crore project will be finalised by November this year and work to begin by January 2019,” Samakant Srivastava, general manager (civil), Noida Authority, told It will take 36 months to complete the project,” the general manager added Once operational, motorists travelling towards Barola in the Sector 49 area, Salarpur and Bhangel up to Sector 82 T-point will have a signal-free ride, thereby easing the pressure of traffic in the area.
