| Project Detail : | Even as the Hyderabad Metro Rail project is being fast-tracked, the TRS government has now mooted an elevated Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) from Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) to Financial District covering the entire IT corridor, municipal administration minister KT Rama Rao said. The 17km BRTS will be completed in two years and operated with electric buses “The detailed project report for the elevated BRTS is being readied. The Rs 2,000 crore project will be taken up under public-private partnership (PPP) mode,” KTR said. He said the BRTS is meant to resolve traffic mess in the congested corridor along with the metro rail. Initially, the government may take up a stretch of 9km up to Hi-tec City |
