| Project Detail : | The Prakasam district administration will take up projects worth 2,400 crore to provide safe drinking water to all rural households, Collector V.Vinay Chand said Laying foundation stone for a 1.50 crore drinking water project along with Addanki MLA G. Ravikumar, he said all the households would be provided with 70 litres per day on completion of the projects to find a permanent solution to the drinking water woes of the people. In the first phase 1000 crore worth projects would be completed in 3 years Mr. Ravikumar said the Addanki Assembly constituency would alone get 100 crore for the planned drinking water schemes to provide safe drinking water to 21 fluoride-affected villages, he added.
